Copilot” was shot over the course of three days, two days being in the house and one at the airport in North Texas, a day otherwise known as “Fly Day”. To Darcy, the cast and crew were a dream to work with. The members ranged from seasoned professionals to wide-eyed beginners. No matter the years of experience, each individual brought their own unique perspective and enthusiasm. Magic was in the air after every take.

For Darcy, “Copilot” became more than a simple first short. It became a way for her to reintroduce herself to the film community, honor the lessons and memories of her father, and bridge the gap between her two loves: Being on set and being in the clouds.

“Copilot” is currently on the film festival circuit.
